Edgar G. Chedrawy
Clinical medicine, healthcare operations and research
Dr Edgar G. Chedrawy is a cardiothoracic surgeon and senior healthcare executive with extensive experience across the United States, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Over more than 15 years in healthcare leadership, he has worked at the intersection of clinical medicine, hospital operations, research and organisational development. His experience includes leading complex clinical environments, developing hospital-based research capabilities and supporting strategic change across both public and private health systems.
As Chief Clinical Operations Officer and Chief Medical Officer at a well-known hospital in Dubai, Dr Chedrawy brings a direct understanding of how healthcare institutions evaluate new clinical programmes, technologies, partnerships and research opportunities. His perspective combines the discipline of a practising physician with the operational judgment required to translate an ambitious healthcare proposition into a programme that can function within a hospital environment.
He is also the founder of Chedrawy Healthcare Consulting in Chicago and the creator of Leadership By Design©, reflecting his longstanding focus on physician alignment, leadership development and institutional performance.
At ManaraMED, he provides clinical and operational insight across healthcare strategy, clinical development, research, hospital partnerships and the assessment of new medical opportunities.

Over the course of his career, Marc has built an extensive international network across healthcare and related industries. His relationships include healthcare companies, operators, physicians, investors, family offices, advisors and organisations involved in the development and financing of healthcare initiatives.

Diana Andrade
Life-sciences law, privacy and clinical research
Diana Andrade is an EU-qualified attorney, privacy advisor and experienced counsel to the pharmaceutical and life-sciences sectors.
As founder and Managing Director of RD Privacy, she advises organisations on data protection, regulatory strategy and the complex legal and governance questions surrounding clinical research. Her work combines detailed legal expertise with a practical understanding of how international research programmes operate across jurisdictions and institutions.
Diana is a Regional Advisor for the Middle East to the Drug Information Association and the founder of the UAE Clinical Research Roundtables. Through this initiative, she brings together stakeholders from healthcare, research, industry and government to address the conditions required for the UAE’s continued development as an international centre for clinical research and innovation.
Her experience extends beyond technical legal advice. She understands how regulatory frameworks, data governance, institutional relationships and research policy affect the ability of life-sciences companies to establish credible clinical programmes in the region.
At ManaraMED, Diana contributes legal and strategic judgment across clinical research, privacy, regulatory coordination and international life-sciences development. She also plays an important role in connecting companies with the institutions and specialist expertise required to operate responsibly in the UAE and GCC.
The Team
An international, multidisciplinary team
Beyond its leadership, ManaraMED brings together experienced professionals and specialist advisors across the UAE, the wider GCC and the United States. Their combined experience connects clinical and scientific understanding with healthcare operations, regulation, investment and international commercial development.
The team’s work is supported by established relationships across the region’s healthcare and life-sciences environment. These relationships provide access to the institutions and people relevant to each mandate, including healthcare organisations, research bodies, regulators, public-sector decision-makers, investors and commercial partners.
Access, however, is only valuable when it is informed and relevant. ManaraMED first determines which relationships can genuinely advance a client’s objective, then engages the appropriate stakeholders within a clear strategic framework. Clients therefore gain more than introductions: they gain a considered route through a complex regional environment.
